Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team in producing high-quality cabinetry for residential projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand assembly requirements.
  • Select and prepare materials and components for assembly, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Measure and cut materials accurately using hand and power tools, such as saws and drills.
  • Assemble cabinets by joining and fastening components using appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides, according to specifications.
  • Inspect finished cabinets to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Make adjustments and repairs to cabinets as necessary to achieve proper fit and functionality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a cabinet assembler or similar role in manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut and assemble materials to tight tolerances.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on producing highquality work.
  • Excellent handeye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred

Qualifications:


  • Vocational training or certification in carpentry, woodworking, or a related field.
  • Experience operating woodworking machinery, such as a table saw, router, and sander.
  • Familiarity with computeraided design (CAD) software for interpreting drawings and plans.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
  • 4 years of prior experience in a cabinet manufacturing or woodworking shop.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy material and components, up to 50 pounds.
  • Stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate small parts and operate hand and power tools safely.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
