$50,000.00 To 70,000.00 Annually
Summary:
The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations of a full-service branch office, ensuring efficient administration, customer service excellence, and adherence to the bank's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all in-branch customer service requests and operations.
Assume responsibility for till operations in the absence of the Head Teller.
Achieve referral, account, and retention goals.
Cultivate branch identity, drive sales, and foster accountability for customer service and branch success.
Implement new products, sales promotions, and incentive programs to stimulate growth.
Originate residential and installment loans and oversee lending activities.
Supervise Assistant Branch Managers and Tellers providing guidance and support.
Make informed recommendations on staffing matters including assignments, promotions, and performance evaluations.
Conduct regular staff training meetings enforcing bank policies, procedures, and sales techniques.
Ensure security measures are in place to prevent fraudulent activities and minimize risk.
Maintain effective communication between branch staff and management through regular reporting and attendance at meetings.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of bank products, services, and promotions.
Handle customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution.
Review and approve requests such as large check cashing, bank checks, and cash counts.
Uphold branch performance standards in areas such as operating control, compliance, and customer service.
Continuously enhance banking knowledge and sales skills through training and education.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Prior supervisory experience, preferably in banking.
Strong customer service and cash handling experience.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in small groups.
Working Hours:
Full-time position with hours aligned with branch operation times.
Flexibility required for occasional evening and weekend work as job demands.
Travel:
Occasional travel may be required upon request.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in primary language(s) used in the workplace; bilingual skills desirable.
Ability to effectively communicate and present information to managers and customers.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 10 to 20 lbs.
Prolonged periods of standing and handling money.
Proficiency in operating office equipment.
Typical office/retail environment with ambient room temperatures and lighting.
