- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans for middle school students, focusing on various science disciplines.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.
- Teach science concepts through hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and technology integration.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to acmodate diverse learning needs and styles.
- Assess student understanding through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate science curriculum with other subjects and participate in interdisciplinary projects.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and municate effectively about student progress and achievements.
- Bachelors degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certificate/license for middle school science or secondary science.
- Previous experience teaching middle school science preferred.
- Strong knowledge of science content and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Excellent munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Full-time position for the uping school year.
