    Description

    Position Title:

    Quality ManagerReports to:Plant ManagerWe have an exciting opportunity for a problem solver, a change agent who is excited about quality and taking it to the NEXT level.

    The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading and mentoring the quality team, implementing, and overseeing the quality systems, documentation, and processes.

    Exceeding customer expectations and achieving world class excellence in quality is expected.
    A successful candidate will be results oriented, high level of integrity and drive.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Develop and maintain customer scorecard reporting process to track performance and drive continuous improvementLead and direct customer 8Ds and problem-solving activities to ensure highest customer satisfaction alwaysEnsure timely and accurate responses to customer requirementsEnsure LPA process is robust and supports a continuous improvement cultureSupport internal and external issue escalation process; identify gaps and corrective actions for issue escalationMaintain product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and government requirements; collaborate with other members of management to develop new training methodsPrepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends while creating a culture of continuous improvementLead Quality Best Business Practice team meetings to ensure collaboration between plants to implement best solutions globallyMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesAchieve financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget as needed, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actionsResponsibility for customer notifications related to quality or delivery issues, including notifying its CB on special quality status per customer specific requirements (CSR)


    REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business or related7+ years of experience in quality in manufacturing3+ years of experience in Quality Management functionsAutomotive industry experience a plusExperience directly supporting customer sites a plusCertified Lean Manufacturing and/or ASQ certifications a plus
