- Under the supervision of the Manager of Rehabilitation Services, evaluate each patient referred, completing a full initial evaluation appropriate to patient's diagnosis according to established procedure and physician order. Make recommendations and develop treatment plans to achieve established goals.
- Collaborate as a member of the patient care team
- Provide supervision to COTAs as needed.
- Provide clinical supervision to affiliating students under guidelines established by the participating educational institutions. May participate in the mentoring program.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Occupational Therapy with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Occupational Therapist License in the State of Massachusetts required.
- BLS License Required
- Heavy lifting in teaching proper transfer techniques wound care including burns that require debridement. Superior hand skill required for fabrication of braces and splints.
