    Director of Clinical Services for Bonaventure Senior Living

    Wage Range from $125,000 to $150,000

    Bonaventure Senior Living is actively seeking a Director of Clinical Services for the entire company to lead and shape the company's Health Service teams. This senior leadership role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is based in Salem, Oregon.

    As the Director of Clinical Services, the right person will have the profound opportunity to enhance the lives of our residents through ongoing teaching, training, and inspiring teams through the company to greatness. They also partner with state agencies towards resolving regulatory concerns, including developing, and implementing effective systems and policies pertaining to the overall care of our residents and compliance with governing regulations.

    The ideal candidate for this position is a Leader and Trainer who is well organized, has an effective strategy for time-management and prioritization, and consistently meets and exceeds expectations. They have an established level of skill/experience with quality assurance, regulatory compliance, as well as a passion for great customer service. Expect some travel to our Oregon, Washington and Colorado communities as needed.

    Responsibilities
    • Collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer, Regional Directors of Operation and other key leadership staff for development and implementation of new/revised policies.
    • Direct supervision of a team of Regional Nurses to assure adequate professional oversight of our community's health services department.
    • Provision of ongoing oversight to established policies and procedures as well as systems related to quality of care, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
    • Oversight and participation in development and implementation of effective plans of corrections for state agency visits.
    • Coordination and participation in the development and execution of initial and ongoing education and training for key community health services staff and regional nurse team members.
    • Collaborate with state agencies for resolution of outstanding regulatory concerns or grievances regarding resident care systems.
    • Provision of oversight for outside vendor services such as DME supplier, EMAR program and contracted pharmacies to assure effective implementation and utilization.
    • Participation in investigations into resident care concerns and/or regulatory compliance issues and collaboration with community and regional team members towards resolution.
    Qualifications:
    • Strong Leadership and Organizations skills.
    • An excellent trainer with strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Oregon and able to obtain license in additional states.
