Description

Responsibilities:

Prepare and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Engage children in creative and educational experiences, including crafts, yoga, and structured play.
Build strong relationships with students and families.
Assess and track students' progress and developmental milestones.
Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support the overall goals of the program.


Job Location:

If hired, you would be placed at McGravy Elementary, 4350 Sophistry Dr, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742.


Desired Qualifications:

1+ years of previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
12 units of early childhood education.
High school degree.


Specific Qualifications:

Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Patience, empathy, and a sincere dedication to working with young children.
Fun, energetic, and creative individuals.
Must have your own reliable transportation (car necessary).


Additional Information:


Compensation:
Starting teaching rates range from $19 to $20 per hour.

Availability:

Full-Time, must be able to commit from the current 2024 school year: April to June 28th hours a week.

Approximately 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
