Description

Assists by providing for general support and comfort needs of patients, families, and visitors; advocates for patients and their families by communicating issues and concerns and seeking resolution through appropriate channels; provides information and/or direction to patients with questions or problems.

20 Hours (3pm -11pm/5pm-11pm)


Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to assist in providing care to patients.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and adaptability skills, creating a favorable image in relationship to the ED and the hospital as a whole.
  • Must develop and maintain positive relationships across all areas of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate commitment to customer relations and all basic concepts of continuous quality improvement and preventing error from reaching the patient.
  • Provides timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, coworkers, and physicians.
