Accounting InternEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Research balance sheet account reconciling items for resolution and review for compliance.
Prepare accurate and timely bank and account reconciliation within established deadlines, including researching and resolving reconciling items.
Work with regional operations and finance teams including shared service centers, assisting them in reviewing and preparing account reconciliations to ensure compliance with standards.
Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decisions
Act as backup to other team members during time off
Assist with other special projects, as assigned
Required Experience:
Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business
Completion of Sophomore or Junior year
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and under tight timeliness
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
High degree of accuracy with a good eye for detail
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results
