- Create the procedures, policies, methods, and standards of our quality system.
- Define metrics that allow the company, lines, and shifts to measure our quality performance and track improvement over time.
- Define and implement system for detecting defects, identifying root causes, and developing sustainable corrective actions without decreasing throughput.
- Ensure that all measurement devices are properly calibrated.
- Where appropriate, determine control parameters for the manufacturing process.
- Where appropriate, help define standards for the quality of vendors' products or services.
- Drive continuous improvement.
- Develop process for routine checks of parts using the salt spray chamber; manage the testing and recording of this process.
- 5+ years' experience in quality control particularly with metals and metal plating.
- Familiarity with intelligent and industrial systems
- Familiarity with IS9001 and IATF processes
- Must be collaborative and an excellent communicator
- A proven track record of strong management abilities and team building
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
