We are looking for a permanent part-time employee (24 hours per week) at the next possible date in Carrollton.

The University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich's data center is a central service provider and strategic advisor for the IT supply of teaching, research, and administration. It operates a modern, high-performance, comprehensive data network on the university campus with a broadband connection to the German science network. Its and therefore your main task is to adapt to the constantly changing requirements as the central IT contact person. As a central service center, it is user-oriented and cooperates with all institutions of the university.

Your tasks:

  • central communication interface between the data center and the users of IT systems
  • acceptance, qualification, response, and if necessary forwarding of general inquiries
  • receipt, recording, and resolution of fault reports
  • documentation of the measures taken
  • processing of incidents (2nd level) according to existing work instructions
  • independent escalation of support requests
  • dispatcher function for specific technical issues (forwarding to the specialist groups)
