    Description
    Bright Light Academy is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their team in assisting several classrooms. The perfect candidate should have over two years of experience working with children, be a supportive team member, and possess a strong interest in advancing in the early childhood education field.
    Responsibilities:
    • Work together with the lead and assistant teachers to help carry out daily lesson plans and activities.
    • Aid in creating a secure and engaging classroom setting for toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-k students.
    • Supervise and interact with children during playtime, meals, and other daily activities.
    • Offer individual and group assistance to children as necessary.
    • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child's growth and development.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of two years experience working with children.
    • Capable of passing state, federal, and child abuse background screenings.
    • Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work legally in the United States.
    • Passion for working with children of all ages.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
    • Able to lift up to 40lbs, have good vision and hearing, and be comfortable sitting on the floor with children.
    • Must exhibit patience, nurturing qualities, and the capacity to establish a positive learning environment.
    This role presents a fantastic chance for individuals wishing to broaden their expertise in the early childhood education sector. Although this is a FULL-TIME, YEAR-ROUND position, there is some flexibility. For those with 2500 hours of experience, the starting pay is $15.50. For a seasoned educator with a CDA, a non-related associates or bachelor's degree AND a minimum of 2500 hours of experience, the pay can reach up to $17.50 (based on education & experience). Bright Light Academy operates five days a week, with staff working a FOUR-DAY work week!
