Position Description

  • Organizes cashier paperwork, conduct audits, prepare detailed reports, and reconciles transactions to maintain financial accuracy and transparency. Provides support across finance departments to ensure compliance and streamline operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Organize cashier paperwork efficiently to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Assist in reporting over/shorts for cashiers to maintain financial transparency.
  • Reconcile cashier coupons with recorded coupons in RecTrac to ensure consistency.
  • Independently conduct cash drawer audits on cashiers.
  • Perform internal control audits independently to uphold compliance standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports and effectively communicate results to management.
  • Assist in data entry into RecTrac for ACH transactions.
  • File paperwork for Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and Payroll Departments meticulously.
  • Support various projects from A/R, A/P, and Payroll Departments.
  • Fulfill any other duties as assigned promptly and efficiently.
  • Utilize the Rockford Park District's HRIS system for all HR and payrollrelated requirements and to accurately clock in and out for all shifts.

Education/Experience
High School Degree, Some college coursework in Accounting required.
