Summary

Primary Responsibilities
Assist the Financial Operations Manager in payroll processes including processing, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Handle daily HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, processing documentation, and responding to employee inquiries promptly.


Assist in the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.

Support recruitment efforts by assisting with job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding processes.


Collaborate with HR team members to provide support in various HR functions such as benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations.

Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and California employment laws?

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills??

Strong organizational, multi-tasking and facilitation skills with a proven ability with prioritization??

Experience with platforms such as Paychex, Indeed, LinkedIn, and?ZipRecruiter?

Ability to handle and protect confidential information?

Interact with employees, management, and contractors with humility, curiosity, and a focus on collaboration and team?

Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks?

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and management?

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills??

Ability to remain poised and professional during high-stress situations?

Ability to go above and beyond for every employee every day?

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field

Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience

Physical Requirements

  • Work is typically performed in an environment, using simple, easy muscular movements, involving only the handling of light materials, tools, or equipment in easy work positions, and with no special speed requirements or long stretches of exertion. Vision requirements for this job include close vision and the ability to focus. Remaining in a stationary position and in front of a computer screen for prolonged periods will be necessary. Repeating motions such as typing, that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers are necessary. Ability to remain in stationary positions for extended periods of time.
