    LaSalle Network has partnered with a prominent carrier in refrigerated cargo, assisting in maintenance, repair, and home solutions. Our client is based in Lombard, IL, and is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time, hybrid role that promises growth opportunities.     Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with EDI systems and vendors for timely event reception and data consistency
    • Accurately update systems using provided interchange receipts from truckers and shippers
    • Manage off-hire process of containers back to leasing companies through trucker coordination
    • Demonstrate proficiency in various Ocean terminal systems
    • Ensure proper handling of misused containers from other lines, returning them to the rightful owner at the Point of Delivery
    • Maintain a high level of professionalism in email communications, especially when dealing directly with box owners
    • Support truckers and shippers with street turns for container bookings
    • Respond to all emails in the group email inbox within a specified timeframe

    Sales Coordinator Requirements:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • At least 6 months of experience in the Ocean carriers industry
    • Proficient in Excel for effective data management
    • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are essential
