    As a Field Service Engineer, you are the eyes and ears of Videojet when providing service and support through customer interactions.

    We are a close-knit team across many locations.

    With an office-based technical support team, our Field Service Engineers are never 'on their own'.We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, unlimited bonus opportunities, full medical on day one, parental benefits, a phone, and a company car.

    To be successful in this role you will:

    Problem-solve using available resources and creative solutions to resolve customer issues and will know when to ask for helpPartner with customers to assess their needs, manage their expectations, and drive resultsProactively listen to customers, anticipate their needs, follow through, and work towards a mutually agreeable solutionCollaborate with teammates, managers and customersRequirementsAbility to travel, including occasional overnight travel (initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends)Up to two years of technical experienceBasic computer/technical skills (can use email, software, phone apps, Microsoft Word)Compliance with PPE, safety and registration requirements of customers.

    Ability to perform and/or tolerate all physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation, including but not limited to:
    Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
    Twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, walking and kneeling.
    Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
    Use of hand tools and manual dexterity.

    Exposure to a wide variety of manufacturing environments, including but not limited to:
    food, food processing, animal processing, heat, humidity, cold, noise, and dust

    This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

    We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
