Position Overview:
Responsible for providing training to sewing operators, in accordance with NSA guidelines.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Train new and existing sewing operators to work on specific machines and products, following the Sewing Training Guidelines.
  • Ensure sewing operator trainees utilize equipment safely and employ methods to ensure safe operation while adhering to company quality standards and procedures.
  • Help sewing operator trainees to properly set equipment to specific requirements.
  • Educate sewing operators and supervisors on product/design changes.
  • Regularly and proactively communicate with leadership on training needs, processes, and issues as they arise.

Training:
Provided on the job and supplemented with in-house training sessions and classes.


Qualifications:


  • Proficient with industrial sewing machines, with 6+ months of sewing experience
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday 7:304pm
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable or willing to learn Microsoft Teams
