Northrop Grumman Space Sector's Payload & Ground Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA and will be onsite, supporting our Integrated National Systems team.


Duties & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Proposal strategy and assist with contract negotiations
  • Pricing and proposal activities support
  • Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
  • EstimateatComplete (EAC) preparation and review
  • EVMS reporting, internal and external
  • Leadership and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
  • Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
  • Compliance audit support, internal and external
  • Ongoing collaboration with internal and external customers as well as functional teams
  • Collaboration with Directors and Program Managers
  • Review of all contractual documents related to Programs
  • Cash Management to ensure timely invoicing and collections

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of industry related experience
  • OR a Master's degree with 4+ years of industry related experience
  • Understanding of DOD contracts, Government Cost Accounting Standards, or FAR/DFAR.
  • Experience with government program budgeting and forecasting
  • Current, active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • OR
  • Current, active SCI Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Earned Value Proficiency including the Earned Value Guidelines
  • Proposal development skills, strategy development, estimating and negotiation experience
  • Experience with Cognos Financial Forecasting System, COBRA Earned Value Management System, and SAP
  • Current, active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Salary Range:
$104,600 - $156,800

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
