Position Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to identify lead hazards, collect samples, and perform visual assessments accurately.
  • Conduct leadbased paint inspections and risk assessments in accordance with EPA, HUD, and state/local regulations.
  • Collect samples, perform visual assessments, and utilize specialized equipment to identify lead and/or mold hazards.
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standard operating procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Communicating findings, recommendations, and project updates clearly and professionally to team members.
  • Travelling to various locations as necessary to conduct onsite inspections and assessments, which may include early mornings and late evenings.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proficiency in conducting Xray fluorescence (XRF) testing and interpreting results.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and ability to travel locally and regionally.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, crawl in spaces, and perform various physical tasks such as standing, bending, squatting, sitting, kneeling, and climbing to access a variety of areas.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • EPA Lead Inspector License. (preferred)
  • Experience creating handdrawn layouts. (preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish. (preferred)

$20.00 per hour
