    Job Description

    Job DescriptionThe Design Associate will use their creativity to develop art and technology that communicate while eliminating distractions and pursuing excellence

    Supervisor:Communication Director

    Essential Duties:
    • Combine art and technology to communicate Rockys mission throughout its ministries
    • Update, animate, and create per-service promotional slides
    • Create files for all printed material
    • Assist Communications Director in maintaining social media presence across appropriate channels
    • Creates high quality graphics and visuals for series, promotional materials (posters, slides, banners, brochures, flyers, etc.), projection screens, TV monitors, and online experiences for all of Rocky ministries
    • Create social media reels weekly using images, sermons, or worship clips
    • Work alongside ministry leaders implementing creative directive with a positive attitude
    • Other related duties as assigned
    Qualifications:
    • Tech savvy, strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills
    • Exceptional written and conversational communication skills
    • Strong understanding of and experience with design, copy, social media, and web best practices
    • Experience in revisions process, conflict resolution and copy-writing
    • Proficient with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite; specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
    • Ability to multi-task simultaneously with high quality results
    • A member (or willing to be) of Rocky Mountain Christian Church and adopt Rockys Statement of Faith and Staff Values
    Physical Demands of Job:
    • Sit/stand for long periods of time
    • Occasionally kneel, crouch, or climb ladders
    • Frequent lifting/moving up to 50 lbs
    Dept of Labor Classification: Non-Exempt

    Job Type: Part-Time per week)

    Schedule: TBD (Monday-Thursday are Rockys Office Days)

    Benefits: This position is not eligible for benefits.
