- Recruiting, developing, retaining, leading, and advancing resources at sites driving professional standards and matrix development of team
- Demonstrating responsibility for all phases of timely safety and environmental reporting, financial reporting, and turbine availability
- Working closely with internal NextEra users to develop and implement operation focused feedback and solutions for planned and unplanned maintenance, improvement projects, development, and financial performance
- Presenting a positive professional representation of NextEra Energy in the community and with the customer
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times to encourage team adherence to NextEra safety policies
- Provides technical execution guidance and support for a maintenance team

Position Specific Description
As a Wind Field Technician Leader for the Gen Repair & Services team in Storey City,Iowa, you will support all maintenance and repair activites. You will focus on performance and profitability within the framework of the operating plan including developing and executing strategy for improved maintenance, diagnostic, and operation to provide additional customer value and reduce cost of service. Leaders in this job provide the first line of guidance as the working leader for field service technicians who perform preventative maintenance and repair activities on wind turbine generator sets. This includes the annual maintenance tasks of major components including but not limited to lubrication, filter changes, heat exchanger cleanings, etc.
