    Job Description

    The role of the Regulatory Analyst is primarily performing as the sole liaison for regulatory affairs with any state agency with whom Zachry Exploration conducts business with. The Regulatory Analyst will also assist in Engineering Technician functions and has a high day-to-day interaction with office Engineering personnel. The ideal candidate will need to know when to get input from engineers and when to problem solve on his/her own. He/She will also need above average communication skills to timely complete job functions. The Regulatory Analyst will also assist with data retention (both digital and physical) and tracking and can serve as an intermediary between the different departments within Zachry Exploration.

    Responsibilities
    • Maintain regulatory compliance including permitting, production reporting, and correspondence.
    • Assisting with obtaining and providing certificates of insurance (COIs) as necessary
    • Assist engineering with QC of production and SWD data
    • Interface with various marketing agencies to provide monthly nominations.
    • First reviewer for coding on operational invoices
    • Edit and upkeep spreadsheets and information databases.
    • Communicate with vendors on occasion.
    • Carry out assignments independently.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's or Associate's or Technical degree in engineering, regulatory, computer science, or related field.
    • 5-10 years of Regulatory Compliance or similar industry experience.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • High level of commitment to excellence in regulatory performance and compliance.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills as well as good planning and organizational skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a record of building consensus among internal and external parties.
    • Ability to perform and manage multiple varied tasks.
    • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive physical duties. Requires lifting, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, climbing, working in awkward positions, and lifting to 25 lbs.
    • Familiarity with SharePoint or a similar file share platform preferred.
