Delivery Drivers Needed - West Simsbury, United States - Flamig Farm Earth Products

We are hiring for a
seasonal/part-time delivery driver The Spring starts our busy season of Mulch, Compost, and LawnSoil deliveries and continues through the Summer into the Fall/Winter with Firewood deliveries.

We need an additional driver for up to 15 deliveries per day. We are based out of Simsbury, Connecticut and deliver to the surrounding towns within a 15 mile radius.


Driver skills/qualifications:

• Delivers to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Someone who loves people and being friendly comes naturally
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Drive a dump truck (UNDER CDL but medium sized dump trucks) and deliver Earth Products to customers homes
• Some driveways can be very challenging being able to carefully back into tight spaces with a dump truck is a must
• Clean out your truck bed and truck cab at the end of the day

We maintain a fleet of light duty and medium duty dump trucks all under CDL GVWR requirements. Ability to drive a standard transmission is a plus, but not required. There will be training on driving all trucks, but experience in driving trucks is preferred.
