SUMMARY:
Under supervision, the Customer Service Representative accurately fulfills customer orders and manages incoming calls.


JOB DUTIES:
  • Responds to customer inquiries, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
  • Influences gross profit through negotiating sale and purchase prices.
  • Adjusts customer pricing based on competition while maximizing profit.
  • Builds customer relationships for repeat business.
  • Orders items to maintain inventory levels.
  • Places orders up to $5,000 per line without approval.
  • Sources products in inventory.
  • Determines cost-effective shipping methods.
  • Partners with Account Representatives for customer satisfaction.
  • Expedites backorders and handles customer returns.
  • Performs assigned duties.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires high school diploma or GED and up to three years experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
  • Reliability, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Product knowledge preferred.

COMPENSATION:
The base pay range for this position is $18.42 - $23.05 hourly. Total compensation based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
