INFORMATION AND FACTS ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP
The mechatronics technician is a combination of a mechanic and an electrician. They build, assemble, install, and maintain mechatronic systems, from washing machines and trains to X-ray machines and industrial plants. As a mechatronics technician, you will take on tasks in the fields of mechanics, electronics, and information technology. You will build complex mechatronic systems and install them. Additionally, you will be responsible for their maintenance and repair.

During your three and a half year apprenticeship, you will learn how to maintain and repair machines and be involved in the development of technical innovations.
