Front Desk RecptionistResponsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answers and responds to all calls in a professional manner. Takes accurate messages and ensures that the messages are delivered to the appropriate person.
- Schedules and confirms patient appointments.
- Verify eligibility and check in patients and collect copays/deductibles/back balances.
- Obtains precertifications for office visits.
- Demonstrates a postivie attitude. Is polite, courteous, professional, and is a team player.
- Professional dress and appearance, and ready to work at scheduled time.
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
- Must be able to work between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical office receptionist role preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Greenway Intergy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and visitors
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification

$ $19.00 per hour
