- Scheduling production work on the shop floor.
- Direct supervision (through foremen), selection, training and discipline of all production personnel.
- Customer liaison regarding timing and delivery of processed hardware. Provide any quote information to the Business Unit manager ensuring that all customer requirements have been stated.
- Assuring proper handling of all parts being processed.
- Preventing the recurrence of nonconformities by identification, segregation, reporting, initiating corrective and preventive action and verifying these.
- Reviewing and implementing area-specific procedures and/or work instructions to minimize environmental releases and complies with regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing procedures and/or work instructions for normal operations, maintenance, start-up, shutdown and other non-routine operating conditions.
- Supporting resource availability for awareness training and job specific training.
- Overseeing the facility's training program including environmental training
- Overseeing the maintenance of environmental training records.
