Overview:

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a
Housekeeping Supervisor to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas.

We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.


The
Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for inspecting guest rooms and public areas, after being cleaned by Housekeeping team to ensure quality standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities
  • Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/work boards
  • Communicate issues to next shift
  • Complete required paperwork
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in Housekeeping
  • Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Physical demands:
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other workrelated machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
