How does the training work?

If you decide to train as a specialist for food technology (m/f/d) at Nordgetreide, you can expect an interesting and varied three-year training in industrial food production.

The training takes place in our cereal production and is aimed at technically interested applicants who enjoy setting up and operating machines.

During the training period, you will get to know all areas and thus all existing trades in the production area of our company by actively participating in daily business and contributing your skills.

In addition to practical training, there is also theoretical training.

You will complete this theoretical part of your training in block lessons at the Berufsbildende Schule Gestaltung und Technik in Trier.


By the way:

with good academic and company performance, there is the possibility for you to shorten the training to 2.5 years.

What tasks can I expect?

As a specialist for food technology (m/f/d), you operate and monitor the entire production process from the delivery of raw materials to the packaged end product.

You are responsible for setting up machines and systems for different recipes before production starts and continuously monitoring production processes.
