POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, and training employees.

This role focuses on building a robust network of skilled employees, ensuring compliance, and facilitating employee integration and continuous development.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:


1.


Sourcing and Recruiting:


  • Develop and implement strategies to source and recruit.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, industry events, and referrals.

Onboarding:


  • Create and manage a comprehensive onboarding program for various roles within the organization.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation (contracts, insurance, certifications) is completed accurately and on time.
  • Introduce new employees to company policies, procedures, and expectations.

3.


Training and Development:


  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on company policies, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary.

4.


Compliance and Risk Management:


  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Maintain uptodate records of agreements and other relevant documents.
  • Monitor and enforce safety and health regulations.

5.


Communication:


  • Facilitate regular communication to employees, including updates on company policies, project requirements, and industry standards.
  • Organize and conduct meetings to keep employees informed and engaged.

6.


HR Administration:


  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records in HR systems.
  • Generate reports and analyze data related to employee performance, compliance, and satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferable within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
