The Hampton Inn and Suites Albany Downtown is looking for highly motivated individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Purpose:
To perform in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner, a combination of duties mainly related, but not limited, to check-in and checkout of guests, which contributes to an overall positive experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet, register, and provide service to all incoming & outgoing guests.
- Answer reservation requests, change requests, and cancelations in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with fellow departments to meet and exceed guest satisfaction.
- Answer all guest inquiries pertaining to hotel services and local attractions.
- Assist in developing employee morale.
- Respond to all guests' requests, problems, complaints and/or incident presented at the Front Desk or through Reservations, in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
- Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and other employees.
- Ensure that all Front Desk staff adhere to payment, cash, and paid out procedures during each shift.
- Ensure and enforce all Front Desk Agents are in proper uniform attire.
- Maintain a visibly clean and orderly Front Desk and Pantry area.
- Enforce all standard Hilton practices, package handling, and guest safety procedures.
- Conduct team trainings and address areas of opportunity.
- Act as a Manager on Duty when required.
- Monitor all V.I.P.'s, special guests and requests.
- Takes responsibility of supervising the F&B outlets in the absence of the Operations Manager.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Hotel management: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
