Your New Workplace


The Blind Institute Würzburg supports and advises a total of 3,840 children, adolescents, and adults with visual impairments or blindness and other disabilities from all over Lower Franconia at various locations. The medical-therapeutic practice is a joint practice within the institute, consisting of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. We provide interdisciplinary, individual, and practical treatments for children, adolescents, and adults with complex disabilities five days a week in individual and group therapy sessions.

Your Responsibilities


The weekly working hours are 30 hours. 25 hours are to be worked at the Kitzingen location, and an additional five hours at the Würzburg location (always on Tuesdays). The main tasks include:

  • Speech therapy for blind and visually impaired children, adolescents, and adults with complex disabilities
  • Assessment of speech findings and report writing
  • Supporting clients in their language development and oral motor function
