Description

Your Role- As a development engineer (m/f/x) for process and special systems in Pleak, TX, you will be responsible for complex and new process systems for optical components- In your role, you will coordinate the work of the project team internally and with external partners- This includes coordinating work packages and providing technical leadership to your project team- You will also be responsible for developing concepts as input for future machine designs, as well as analyzing complex issues at a scientific level and providing understandable interpretations- You will independently manage the progress, performance, deadlines, and costs of your machine or corresponding sub-project- During acceptance tests and commissioning, you will accompany and conduct measurements to evaluate machine performance and identify, coordinate, and escalate solutions for complex problems that arise during the project.


Your Profile- You have a degree in mechanical engineering, physics, cybernetics, mechatronics, or a similar field, and at least three years of professional experience- Ideally, you have experience in special machine construction or component development- You have a strong understanding of team leadership and managing external partners- You have relevant knowledge in project management, preferably with certification (IPMA, GPM, etc.)- You possess excellent communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and assertiveness skills, as well as resilience and flexibility- You have a confident and professional demeanor- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
