Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant.

As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to dogs in our daycare facility.

Duties:

• Supervise and monitor dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and wellbeing
• Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including interactive games and exercise
• Provide basic training and reinforcement of commands to promote good behavior
• Assist with feeding and administering medications, as directed by pet owners
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the daycare facility, including cleaning up after dogs and sanitizing play areas
• Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent any conflicts or aggressive behavior
• Ensure all dogs are properly identified with collars or tags
• Follow established protocols for handling emergencies or medical situations

Skills:

• Experience in animal care, such as pet sitting, dog handling, or veterinary technician work
• Knowledge of animal behavior and ability to recognize signs of stress or discomfort in dogs
• Strong communication skills to interact with pet owners and provide updates on their dog's wellbeing
• Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and breeds, including proper animal restraint techniques
• Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when necessary
• Familiarity with basic dog training techniques is a plus
