    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

    The Billing & Collections Coordinator I at Numotion implements best practices to ensure all billing and collections activities comply with state and federal regulations. They carry out timely follow-up procedures on designated accounts to minimize outstanding account receivables.

    Essential Functions:

    • Ensure accurate order setup for appropriate reimbursement.
    • Conduct daily order reviews for billing purposes.
    • Engage in follow-up and collections tasks on assigned accounts to uphold a reduced Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
    • Recommend refunds, adjustments, or write-offs for outstanding receivables.
    • File appeals when necessary.
    • Contact payers regarding outstanding receivables.
    • Address billing holds with order processors.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

    • High School diploma/GED required; Associates degree preferred.
    • Minimum one year of relevant experience needed.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
