Athena Manufacturing is seeking an innovative, self-driven team player who has a strong background in a Metalworking Manufacturing Quality Assurance Environment.


The
Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer is responsible for creating inspection programs by determining program requirements based on design and engineering requirements, write and edit programs for precision machinery, and ensure that the machinery is properly calibrated and in suitable working condition.


Minimum Experience/Education Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus
- a minimum of (5) years of in a Metalworking Manufacturing Quality Assurance Environment and
- at least (2) years of operating and programming a
CMM.


Skills & Abilities

  • Working knowledge and proficient of ISO/AS9100 Rev D Standards
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing
  • Proficient in Blueprint Interpretation
  • Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning Software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Proficient in Precision Measurement
  • Machine Programming, Manufacturing
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal and presentation
  • Excellent organizational skills; documentation
