    Position: Data Engineer

    Location: Hoboken, NJ (Hybrid - On-site 2-3 days per week)

    Employment Type: Full-time

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and scripting.
    • Experience with Spark for big data processing and analytics

    Nice-to-Haves:

    • Familiarity with Tableau for data visualization.
    • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for cloud-based data solutions.

    Job Description:

    • The Data Engineer will join a team responsible for anomaly detection, algorithm development, and pricing model creation. The team builds algorithms and pricing models to identify anomalies in various datasets. Additionally, they develop platforms tailored to specific use cases, focusing on anomaly detection and data analysis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test, and deploy code for anomaly detection algorithms and pricing models.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.
    • Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis.
    • Contribute to job development and platform development initiatives.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Strong proficiency in Python and Spark for data engineering tasks.
    • Experience with Tableau and GCP is a plus.
    • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database concepts.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
