For our headquarters in Kiel, we are currently looking for a full-time

Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

Your role:

You will lead a team of 5 accountants, but also actively work with them.
You will also be responsible for liquidity management and process optimization.
You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to German GAAP and support with internal reporting.
You will ensure compliance with legal and company guidelines and work closely with the commercial management and the board of directors.

Your profile:

A completed commercial education with further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification.
Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and in a leadership position.
In-depth knowledge of German commercial and tax law.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software (e.g
