SpectronRx is a rapidly growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Indianapolis, IN, with additional locations in South Bend and Bunker Hill, IN, Danbury, CT and Europe.

We are seeking an experienced
Custodian to join our growing company. The Custodian will clean and maintain applicable SpectronRx facilities.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
  • Create cleaning schedules for both sites.
  • Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as unclogging pipes, changing lightbulbs, putting salt on outside pavement.
  • Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and cafeteria.
  • Performs limited grounds maintenance such as collection of outside trash, pulling weeds, and cleaning snow from sidewalks.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly workspace; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
  • Washes windows.
  • Assists in examining for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to Environmental Health and Safety personnel.
  • Oversee and maintain cleaning supply/equipment inventory.
  • Follow SOPs.
  • Weekly pest control checks
  • Assist in preparing areas for construction as needed, office set up as needed.
  • Receiving/inventory management.
  • Assist EM team with CR cleaning when appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
  • Detailoriented and thorough.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
  • Ability to keep the facilities clean and orderly.
  • Ability to interact with staff, contractors, clients, and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
  • Thorough understanding of project management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to train and be trained

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Indiana driver's license
  • Pass a Background Check.
