Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Aide
- Prepares treatment area for patients by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, comforting and attending to patient's needs.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of exercise programs; accurately provide verbal and written feedback regarding observed patient performance.
- Oversee multiple patients simultaneously.
- Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and prompting patients on technique and form.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and electronic records.
- Provide an outstanding physical therapy experience by serving patients in an attentive and professional manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
At least (2) years of experience working as a Physical Therapy Aide.
