Your Responsibilities:


  • Advise the company on all legal matters in a diverse international environment
  • Provide daytoday legal support as a strong business partner
  • Draft and negotiate contracts and other documents for domestic and international business transactions and projects
  • Collaborate with external law firms representing the company
  • Work closely with business management to address issues and risks

Your Profile:


  • German law degree (preferably with second state exam) with a specialization in maritime law. Master's degree in maritime law and/or international commercial law is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in national and/or international law firms in areas such as maritime, civil, commercial, corporate, or international law
  • Experience in advising on maritime, civil, commercial, corporate, and international law, as well as SOLAS, MARPOL, and IMO regulations and resolutions
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with a flexible and proactive mindset
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Admission to the German bar is desirable
