We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Help Desk Technician to join our ranks.

As a Help Desk Technician at Hillwood, you will play a vital role in providing technical support to end-users, facilitating smooth operations for meetings and live events, and assisting with installations and server management.

A typical day for our Help Desk Technician involves:

  • Providing technical assistance to end-users
  • Setting up and troubleshooting AV equipment for meetings and live events
  • Assisting with installations and maintenance of servers, switches, and access points
  • Ensuring compliance with NIST and CIS requirements
  • Managing Windows, Windows servers, enduser devices, VMWare, and CISCO systems
  • Utilizing services such as event viewer and employing troubleshooting processes
  • Demonstrating expertise in group policy setup and management, including differences between user and computer policies


We are seeking qualified applicants with 1-3 years of experience in a help desk role or equivalent education/training, as well as individuals who are eager to grow into more advanced roles within backend server and device infrastructure support.

We are seeking applicants who are enthusiastic about hands-on project involvement, including setting up exhibition videos, sourcing products, participating in server maintenance projects, and contributing to wireless expansion initiatives.

  • Retirement Savings Plan. Hillwood matches up to 3% with a discretionary match (up to 2% or more). The Hillwood contribution is 100% vested upon reaching three years of service.
