A Day in the LifeTax Associates are responsible for (but not limited to):
Preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns and information filingsEnsuring all federal and state income tax returns are prepared timely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable lawsCommunicating effectively with clients and meeting critical deadlinesParticipating actively in client meetings and tax planning effortsMoore Colson was founded on ethics and integrity, and we work hard to continue operating under these core values.

RequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:1 – 2 years' experience preparing corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary income tax returns in a public accounting firmBachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required, with a master's degree in taxation preferredCurrent CPA license or track to passing the CPA exam highly preferredProficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite productsProficiency with CCH ProSystem fx Tax or other tax automation / workflow software preferredClient service orientedTeam playerCreative problem-solving skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWhat We Can Offer YouWe are dedicated to the well-being of our employees and are proud to be consistently recognized as one of Atlanta's Best Places to Work.
