- Preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns and information filings
- Ensuring all federal and state income tax returns are prepared timely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws
- Communicating effectively with clients and meeting critical deadlines
- Participating actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts
- 1 - 2 years' experience preparing corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary income tax returns in a public accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required, with a master's degree in taxation preferred
- Current CPA license or track to passing the CPA exam highly preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite products
- Proficiency with CCH ProSystem fx Tax or other tax automation / workflow software preferred
