    Description
    Pay Range: 65k-80kESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Designs, builds and repairs tools, jigs, and fixtures to support and improve manufacturing operations and eliminate wastefulness in production processes.

    Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to assure production efficiency.
    Develop process flows, tool boards, etc. to help shop improve/increase production.
    Solve problems on shop production floorDesign and build devices to manufacture tanks and trailers with maximum efficiency.
    Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
    Assemble and test complex tools and dies on manufacturing equipment.
    Perform other tasks as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    Associate degree in Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline preferred.
    Intermediate to Advanced skills using SolidWorks.
    Mig, tig and arc weld.
    Read and interpret blueprints.
    Experience working with multiple discipline projects.
    Technical knowledge of reading blueprints and operating hand tools.

    Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods throughout the dayAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.


    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.70% of time is spent in a factory environment with noise, dust and mechanical operations.
