Farm Fertilizers & Seeds, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Support Specialist.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our valued customers, providing assistance and guidance in their use of herbicide tolerant traits and developing sound agronomic programs for weed control.
As a leading provider of fertilizers and seeds, Farm Fertilizers & Seeds recognizes the importance of these new traits, such as Xtend soybeans and Enlist Soybeans, in enhancing crop productivity.
Our company is committed to communicating our position on the responsible use of these programs and promoting alternative solutions, such as timely residual herbicides and contact herbicides, to effectively control problem weeds.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and concerns related to the use of herbicide tolerant traits and agronomic programs.
- Collaborate with customers to develop personalized weed control plans that incorporate preemerge residual herbicides at labeled rates.
- Educate growers on alternative weed control programs and their effectiveness in controlling problem weeds.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of customer information and orders into the company's database system.
- Work closely with the sales team to promote the company's products and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new product developments, and regulations to provide uptodate information to customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agronomy, or a related field.
- Experience in customer support or a similar customerfacing role.
- Sound knowledge of herbicide tolerant traits, weed control practices, and agronomic programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Detailoriented and highly organized, with strong time management skills.
