    Senior Data Engineer

    The Role

    The Stock Plan Services (SPS) Senior Data Engineer will support the business by working on highly complex SPS data consulting projects leveraging their technical and analytical strengths and skills. We are looking for someone to join our great team of experts, who enjoy a fast-paced environment, and can provide quality work and a best-in-class client/customer experience.

    The Senior Data Engineer leverages various service category databases, data warehouses, and other technical applications (i.e. SQL, Snap Logic, Access, Snowflake, Python, Excel) to identify, analyze and propose solutions to support SPS consulting projects supporting our clients directly.

    The Team

    The Fidelity Workplace Consulting Group is composed of over 300 professionals who advise clients on the management of their domestic benefits. We are a fast-growing business within Fidelity, providing a broad range of services that touch on every area of benefits design, strategy, funding, communication, and delivery. While we focus on working with the Fortune 1000, we also work with Fidelity clients of all sizes.

    Data Consulting engages in data quality improvement efforts that span single and multiple product lines (i.e. Health and Welfare, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Stock Plan Services and HR/Payroll) within the implementation and ongoing servicing client lifecycle.

    The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring
    • 3+ years ETL experience in Informatica, Python and/or Snap Logic
    • 2+ years Stock Plan Services Domain Knowledge/experience
    • Data Analysis Experience/Snowflake/Strong SQL skillset
    • Experience writing Data Mapping/Technical Documentation
    • Knowledge of Fidelity backend product tables (WIDE, Snowflake, DBR1, etc.) a plus
    • Demonstratable experience with working independently in a fast-paced environment while owning the outcome for the project
    • Strong teamwork skills
    • Influencing skills in proposing solutions for business problems
    • Strong communication skills
    • Agile Experience a plus
    • Experience with JIRA a plus
