Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is a member of the Operations Leadership Team and actively contributes to the overall strategy, direction and culture of PBC, working closely and collaboratively with other members of management to identify and develop people, products, services, markets, and/or systems improvements.
This position is responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the supply chain operations, including purchasing, scheduling, inventory, and repack operations.

Implements key measures and metrics to drive expected results and monitor progress.

Operational safety processes and measurements
Effective cross-functional collaboration across all operations
Supply Chain Responsibilities
Management of all Supply Chain Operations at PBC
Vendor relationships, strategies, contracts and negotiations
Vendor communications, orders, deliveries, problem resolutions, etc
Effective Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and execution
Ordering/monitoring/receiving/inspecting
of all ingredients, raw materials, production supplies
Maintaining and ensuring vendor/supplier quality requirements, on-time deliveries, etc
Master Scheduling for both production facilities and ensuring optimization of the production schedules
Forecasting for future volumes and requirements
Communication, collaboration and coordination with customers (and their vendors) regarding order volumes and production schedules
Coordinate with customers on product specifications, BOMs, etc for new product opportunities
Repack Operational Responsibilities
Management of all Re-Pack Operations
Coordinate the Re-pack and Co-Pack operations to optimize throughput
Ensure the timely delivery of product
Coordination with Warehouse regarding the delivery of Co-Pack product to Re-Pack following all FEFO requirements
Efficient running of the Re-Pack operations
Minimum Requirements
B.S. Degree in business or related field. Advanced degree, such as MBA, preferred.
A combination of education and 12+ years of relatable experience may be substituted for a degree.
Fifteen to twenty years progressive experience leading a Supply Chain Operation.
Proven ability to manage, motivate, and be an inspirational leader of a team-based beverage manufacturing environment.
Possesses excellent leadership skills as demonstrated through references, longevity of past direct reports, training, 360 assessment feedback, or other means.
Past successes in selecting qualified people, including appropriate use of talent acquisition tools; evaluating subordinates performance (strengths and development needs); providing constructive feedback, and taking appropriate and timely action with marginal or unsatisfactory performers; helping each employee reach his/her full potential by assuring appropriate training or development plans; motivating and rewarding contributions and achievements.
Knowledge of machine shop and mechanical assembly equipment and processes.
Solid understanding of cost accounting and other financial measurements used in manufacturing.
Advanced knowledge of Lean principles, Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives and exposure to ISO requirements. Capable of mentoring Lean thinking.
Solid experience in handling a variety of employee relations issues, as well as laws associated with workforce safety, and shaping a desired culture.
An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
Ability to make persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to employee groups at all levels of the company, management, to the Board of Directors, and outside organizations.
