Fulltime Caregiver

The Career. IMCC is looking for a fulltime caregiver. A certified nursing assistant, medication aide and/or private care aide welcome to apply. This position works a daily 8-hr shift Monday-Friday only between the hours of 9:30am-5:30pm. No evenings, weekends, or holiday work required A unique and rewarding opportunity for those who want to make a positive impact on family caregivers and individuals with dementia without working in a 24-hour environment


At Insight Memory Care Center, we are committed to providing specialized care, support and education for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments, their families, caregivers, and the community through our adult day health and resource center.

Education

High school diploma or GED.

Staff who work with participants shall receive at least 24 hours of training no later than three weeks after starting employment.


  • Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) and Registered Medication Aide(RMA) licenses in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Experience

1-2 years long-term care experience, experience working with the dementia population preferred; must have effective communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
