We are looking for an experienced and qualified General Manager to oversee the restaurant.


Responsibilities:


  • Payroll
  • Inventory Management
  • Cost of Goods Sold
  • Increase of Sales
  • Quality of Service
  • Quality of Product
  • Staff Quality of Life
  • Neighborhood Relations
  • Manage daily operations including cleanliness, organization, revenue opportunities and staffing
  • Provide exceptional guest service, thereby setting the standard for all employees
  • Train, coach and develop all frontofhouse employees through ongoing feedback and the establishment of performance expectations
  • Ensure restaurant and bar is in complete compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations.
  • Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
  • Is knowledgeable on all DOH requirements pertaining to establishment.

Competencies and Skills Required

  • Proven experience as General Manager
  • Exceptional proven ability of restaurant management
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Uptodate with culinary trends
  • Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Credentials in health and safety training
